About

b. 1986, HK.

My name is Patrick Ickes, Columbia College Chicago alumnus, majoring in Game Design with a concentration in Game Development, and a minor in Management. I’m a die-hard Bengals fan and a comic convention nut. I’ve had the pleasure to design and produce around 10 different games through my 4 years in college, varying from individual projects to team developed software. During my senior year during my capstone course, I found my passion through project management and production, and took the role of Scrum Master for a 10-person team composed of artists, designers, programmers and sound. After graduating I landed a contract QA job with Bungie. The Destiny franchise is one of my all-time favorites and being able to assist them with developing Destiny 2 for 18 months was a dream come true. Afterwards I accepted another contract QA job with Jackbox Games and was transitioned into a full-time, Quality Assurance Analyst role that I am currently working in. I’ve been a fan and follower of Jackbox for close to 10 years now and helping make Party Pack 10 and future releases has been amazing.
